I attended SUNY at Oneonta to study adolescent education and mathematics. As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to tutor college students and middle school students, as well as learn about how to educate younger students effectively. In addition, I completed a semester as a student teacher. Math is my specialty as a tutor. I help students understand it by guiding them through the problem-solving process and allowing students to figure out the answers on their own. Along the way, I fill in gaps in the student's knowledge and help them develop their own critical thinking skills. I believe all students can successfully learn given the proper guidance and support. When I have free time, I like to listen to music, collect records, study history, cook, and play board games.
