I'm not one of those students who simply learns everything on their first try. I work for the good grades that I get and I've learned a lot of valuable skills in the process. Often, "naturally smart" students who tutor have trouble relating to their students--they can't explain the process by which they learned the material. I can, because I know what it's like to struggle in school, and I've learned how to come out on top. I tutored in the sciences and essay writing while in high school, where I was a member of NHS. I scored a 1980 on the SAT (92nd percentile). I have great test taking and study skills. I'd love to help in any subject area, but I'm best at science and writing.
